Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
1. Who We Are
Vinylko (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a vinyl record collection management app. We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy.
2. What Data We Collect
- Account data: email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth).
- Profile data: username, display name, location, bio, and profile photo — all provided voluntarily by you.
- Collection data: vinyl records, wantlist items, notes, and condition grades you add to your collection.
- Usage data: basic app interaction logs for debugging and improving the service.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and maintain your Vinylko account and collection.
- To display your public profile and collection to other users (only if you enable public visibility).
- To send transactional emails such as password resets.
- To improve the app experience based on aggregated usage patterns.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Supabase — our backend and database provider (EU infrastructure).
- Discogs API — to search and identify vinyl records. Your queries are sent to Discogs servers.
- iTunes / Deezer APIs — to fetch tracklist and preview data. No personal data is sent.
5. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings, which will permanently remove all your personal data.
6. Your Rights
Under GDPR and applicable laws, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at privacy@vinylko.app for any requests.
7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption and security practices. Passwords are never stored in plain text. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by email.
